This warm and homely seventeenth century farmhouse of Cotswold stone sits in beautifully landscaped gardens close to the market town of Tetbury. It has been extended in keeping with the original house, and retains many original features such as ceiling cornices, open fireplaces and stone mullioned leaded windows. Residents may enjoy the beautiful spacious lounge, or choose the smaller sitting room to read quietly or entertain visitors. The rolling lawns, flower beds and patio are delightful on a sunny day, and offer charming views from indoors. Regular activities are offered, including gardening, trips to local places of interest and entertainers. All the bedrooms have en-suite facilities for privacy and convenience, and many have garden views. Ilsom House also offers care to a small number of younger physically disabled residents and those who are terminally ill. Also within the grounds is Ilsom Court, which offers a number of Bupa Assisted Living properties. These properties can provide maximum privacy and independence, with the reassurance of knowing that help and company is never far away.
