Eastbury Manor is currently undergoing a refurbishment programme, due for completion in late 2008.

Eastbury Manor is an elegant country house in the heart of the village of Compton, near Guildford. It is surrounded by magnificent cedar trees, extensive lawns and a picturesque lake, and residents regularly attend the fourteenth century church next door. This welcoming home provides every modern comfort, while retaining many original features including an ornate oak staircase, wood panelled reception rooms and large stone mullioned windows offering sweeping views across the grounds. Daily activities are offered, including flower arranging, cooking, arts and crafts and quizzes. The home is very involved in the local community, and hosts annual events in its grounds for the whole village. Popular trips include garden centres and afternoon teas, while a quiet lounge and library are available for those who prefer to read, enjoy a quiet game of cards or catch up on correspondence.

Directions

Travelling south on the A3 from Guildford, take the exit towards Godalming (B3000). At the mini-roundabout turn left into Compton village. Eastbury Manor is found a short distance on the right hand side.

Travelling from Godalming take the A3100 towards Guildford. At the roundabout turn left and take the B3000 into Compton village. Eastbury Manor is found on the left hand side, next to the church.
