Set in landscaped gardens, Brookview is located in the attractive leafy village of Alderley Edge. The prestigious looking centre was purpose-built in 1991 and caters for residents requiring nursing, residential dementia, convalescent, palliative and respite care. The home also provides a flexible pop-in service where people can use the home for flexible care, giving carers access to help on an hour-by-hour basis. All of the bedrooms at Brookview are single occupancy and have en-suite facilities. A number of the bedrooms look out onto the Cheshire countryside. During the summer months residents can chose to relax in the centres' attractive gardens, which feature seating areas and a wheelchair path. Residents can also enjoy one of three comfortable lounges that are elegantly decorated with traditional furnishings. Brookview has a stimulating activites calendar which includes watercolour painting, exercise to music and gardening.

All rooms have television points and safety features such as smoke detectors and 24-hour nurse-call systems. Residents are welcome to bring personal belongings and small items of furniture, and pets are allowed in some homes.

Each home has an activities organiser to provide stimulating and interesting activities, taking account of residents' interests. There is always a varied menu of fresh, nutritious food, but special dietary or cultural needs will always be catered for.

Directions

From Wilmslow take the A34 towards Alderley Edge. Brook Lane is the first road on the right, and Brookview is 100 yards along on the right.

From Macclesfield take the A537. At the Monks Heath traffic lights turn right onto the A34. Continue through Alderley Edge to Wilmslow. After the train station, take the second left into Brook Lane, and Brookview is 100 yards along on the right.
